School Visit In school instruction by Gary NI8Z, Steve N8IS, Dave KD8V,
Tom WB8N and Bob W8GC. PSK and SSB stations were featured. Ron K8VJG at the Cleveland Zoo Rainforest(K8CRF) provided the remote part of the demonstration on 10 Meters. Even Santa took part in this class.

Diabetes Walk Providing communications for civic functions such as the Americans Walk for Diabetes in Cleveland, Ohio October 5, 2002 help give security and aid if needed.

American Diabetes Association Walk in Cleveland

October 4th, 2003 we provided communication and 4 SAG wagons for the
American Diabetes walk in downtown Cleveland. The walk began at the
Tower City Amphitheater down East 9th St. to Lakeside, back to West 3rd
through a 3 ½ mile course ending back at the Amphitheater.

There were 542 walkers and CARS was happy to provide 4 vehicles along
with 8 members who covered the 4 SAG wagons and transported the people
and supplies to the rest stops.

CARS members who gave of their time Saturday morning were: Toby KC8TID,
